Individuality
Only short lengths of fabric are sourced to make the handbags. Some handbags have
the same fabric but it will be a different shape or style or, combined with differing fabrics
and trimmings. Where ever possible recycled fabrics, buttons and trimmings are used. We
aim to use at least 90% recycled fabrics and materials with each handcrafted item.
Please recycle the packaging your handbag will arrive in.

Delivery times
We aim to send your order out within 5 working days of receipt however, this may take a
little longer at busy times such as Christmas. If you need your order for a special
occasion then let us know and we will do our best, postal operations permitting,
to get it to you on time.

Delivery method
All orders are sent by first class post with the Royal Mail and should take 2-4
days to reach you. Overseas orders are sent by “International Signed for” with
the Royal Mail and could take up to 10 days.

UK Orders: postage is free
Overseas Orders
We are happy to accept overseas orders.  Postage will be charged at cost and
we will inform you of the amount before shipping for those orders above 300g in
weight. Any order up to 300g in weight will have a standard charge of £6.50 for
Europe and £7.00 for the rest of the world.

Trade Description  Act:
Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications
are correct at the time of going to press. However, the digital photography
and colour reproduction is only a close representation. If you are interested in a
handbag or item but not sure of the colour, please email to be sent a sample of
the fabric.

Returns policy
We hope that you will be happy with your purchase, however if you are not,
please return it to us within 14 days and we will be happy to exchange or refund
your purchase provided they are returned in good condition. We cannot be
responsible for returned goods being lost on their way back to us. If returning a
product to us please retain proof of posting.
We would also appreciate you contacting us by email prior to returning goods.

Caring for your hand made purchase
As all Codger products are hand made using a variety of fine, vintage, found
and recycled fabrics making the products special and different. Very few of the
fabrics sourced from scrap stores and charity shops have been accurately labelled
as to fibre content and each piece is made from a real eclectic mix of materials.
This means that we cannot endorse machine or even hand washing. We recommend
that the products are sponge or dry clean only. The products should be air dried.
